An analysis of sentence length and complexity in news articles
The aim of this research was to assess stylistic differences, similarities and readability levels in three articles written about the same news item on different media delivery platforms. The platforms chosen were the print medium and the digital medium whilst the stylistic features to be assessed were sentence length and sentence complexity.
